Why do stretching exercises increase flexibility more than cardio exercises? Cardio exercises do not require a full range of motion. Cardio exercises improve the strength of the limbs. Cardio exercises consist of fluid movements. Cardio exercises depend on increased oxygen flow.

Flexibility training occurs by stretching out appendages to their fullest range of motion, during a normal cardio exercise, the main focus is not stretching. Therefore, it stands that stretching is more effective in increasing flexibility than cardio is
