y+-3x+8 What is the slope of the line?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

This equation follows the slope-intercept form (used for graphing lines), which is y=mx+b I'm guessing that first plus sign was supposed to be an equal sign (right after the y), so if I'm right, it should be y=-3x+8. In slope-intercept form, m is the slope, and in this case m would be -3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So slope = -3? Also, yeah sorry it was supposed to be a = sign.

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

yes, that would be it :>

Thanks so much. :)
