What is the approximate distance around the half circle with a diameter of 64 meters?(Will medal and fan!) A. 100.48 m B. 200.96 m C. 401.92 m D. 1607.68 m

OpenStudy (supernaturallvr24):

I got D with what you put in your last comment.

Directrix (directrix):

A diameter of 64 is a radius of 32. The distance around half a circle is 1/2 of its circumference. Crank this out: (1/2) * 2 * pi * (32) Post what you get and we can compare answers. Note: Circumference = 2 * pi*r where r is the radius.

Directrix (directrix):

I inadvertently used the area of a circle formula but caught the error. Sorry.

OpenStudy (supernaturallvr24):

100.48 is what I got this time.

Directrix (directrix):

Me, too.
