its c y+6=-3/4(x-2)

OpenStudy (darthvader2900):

Can you please explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its c y+6=-3/4(x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula is y-y1=m(x-x1)

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

It gives you everything you need in there. When you're plugging in the numbers to the formula they need to be opposite. So, Emmy is right.

OpenStudy (darthvader2900):

Thank you @Emmy2018 and @xMissAlyCatx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just plug in the points you plug in -6 into y1 and the slope into m which is -3/4 and x1 is 2
