863.94 is what i got but do i round it up or just leave it so its either C or D
i think C
\[\huge V_{cylinder}=\pi r^2 h\]
somehow the question doesnt ask about round to tenth or any decimal
so then its C
first use the formula from @CShrix
solve (5^2)*11*pi we know that pic 3.14
sorry is pi* not pic
then u will get the right answer
The correct answer choice only differs by ~0.4cm^3 from the calculated answer, so I'd say it's safe!
i did and i got 275
i guess reason why you got 863.94 due to the fact you calculate the entire pi = 3.14159.
but thats the right answer right??
How did you get 275?
i dont know
is C right?
r= 5 h=11 pi=3.14 Vcylinder=πr^2h
that explain why the answer is ambiguous
its C :)
@atreyu6s3x6 you can't give the answer right away first they need to understand how they got the answer :(. oh well, here the solution 3.14* 5^2*11 => 3.14*25*11 = > 78.5*11= 863.5
yea well you already explained it, she obviously knows what she is doing shes just double checking, right? @Andresfon12
ya but if you saw the second pictures she use google @atreyu6s3x6
They use the approximation symbol rather than the equal to symbol because pi is an infinite value, so we'll never get a finite value no matter what we multiply pi by besides 0. Your answer that you initially calculated is correct, and the answer that I pointed out to you is the correct answer.
