You worked 16 3/4 hours in the past two days and plan to work 12 3/4 hours in the next two days. How many hours will you total on your time sheet for these 4 days?

OpenStudy (ddos_dragon):

29 1/2, I believe.

Thank you very much!!! :)

OpenStudy (ddos_dragon):

No problemo.

Next time: Add the whole numbers (16 + 12 = 28) Then Add the fraction/decimals (.75 + .75 = 1.50) {I converted the fractions into decimals} Then add the two together, (28 + 1.50 = 29.50) Bam.
