You have an interval there from -8 to 4. There an infinitely many numbers between -8 and 4. So any set that includes any numbers between -8 and 4 and only between -8 and 4 (non-inclusive of endpoints) is a subset of (-8,4).
The answers will be 0, (-8), (4) (-8), (4), (-8,4) (-8), (4) 0, (-8), (4), (-8,4)

It seems you are not using the what ( ) means ...You are using what { } means... {-8,-4} is different from (-8,-4)
