Im guessing S stands for Subject, V stands for Verb, N stands for Noun. So what does A, I, and O stand for?
A = adjective?
@Jason_Bo My comp shut off sry about that, but SVO = Subject, Verb, Object SVA = Subject, Verb, Adverbial SVIO = Subject, Verb, Indirect Object
I think the first one is S-V-N and the second one is S-V-O. Because in the first one you have a link verb and then, a noun. And in second one you have a transitive verb and a direct object. In this case, you have to "ask" to the verb what?: produce what? less pollution... This is a direct object. Maybe rhis site can help: http://www.eslgold.com/grammar/basic_sentence.html
