given line AB,Explain how to construct a square with sides of length AB ~please help~~ metal~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you post a little more info, please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did they give you any lengths?

OpenStudy (stuck-help):

no lengths thats the whole question nothing else its geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, I'll try my best! Give me a few secs to work it out!

OpenStudy (stuck-help):

sounds good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I think this is right. Since a square's sides are all congruent, then you should be able to use a compass to draw a line the same length as AB. Once you've drawn that line turn your compass 90 degrees and draw another line the same length as AB. Repeat this until you've got four congruent sides and four 90 degree angles. Not a 100% percent here, but that should be pretty close. Is that what you need?

OpenStudy (stuck-help):

i think that is pretty good thank you

Awesome! Good luck!
