Mehek (mehek14):

do you know how to solve for x?

OpenStudy (narissa):

not for this no

Mehek (mehek14):

it's almost the same as solving it with an equal sign instead of the inequality solve it like there is an equal sign -4 = 11 - 3x

Directrix (directrix):

-4 ≤ 11 - 3x Subtract 11 from both sides -4 - 11 ≤ 11 - 11 - 3x -15 ≤ -3x Divide by sides by -3 Caution: When dividing both sides of an inequality by a negative number the order of the inequality reversed. 5 ≥ x which is the same as x ≤ 5. @narissa
