Ok, first of all sound does NOT travel fast in the ocean than it does in the rain forest. Consider the medium through which the sound travels: It travels faster in air than in liquid, and faster in liquid than in solid. I just googled it real fast but the speed of sound in air is 343 meters per second and the speed of sound in water is 1482 m/s You can probably just google it and get whatever equations you need to fill it in
