molecule 1 has the following sequences of bases: TCAAGT. Which set of bases in Molecule 2 will bond to this sequence in a complimentary way?

A AGUUCA B UCAAGU C UCAATA D AGTACA

@wwhitlock

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Looking at the sequence we can say that molecules is a DNA molecules because it has thymine ( T) We know thymine pairs up with adenine (A) and guanine (G) pairs up with cytosine (C) in DNA In RNA instead of thymine we find Uracil. So in RNA Adenine pairs up with uracil and guanine pairs up with cytosine and vice versa

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

This looks like science. I've seen science before and some of it looks like this. I would chose the first answer because it sounds like one of those old time car horns when you say it. ah OOOO ga

OpenStudy (rushwr):

So the answer for this one is AGUUCA

OpenStudy (rushwr):

So the answer is A

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

Hey! I was right. So choose the one with the funniest sound. (Don't do that. I'm making dumb jokes like I do in class when I don't know what's going on.)

OpenStudy (rushwr):

lol
