Grade 3 Math Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suppose you could choose 2 boxes of markers. Find all the possible pairs. 15 markers 24 markers 36 markers 48 markers Write a number sentence to show how many markers are in each pair.
How many markers are in a box?
the possible pairs should be even cause markers are natural numbers
There are 15 markers , 24 markers, 36 markers and 48 markers
We would need to know the amount of markers in a box..
The possible pairs should be even because the number of markers is a natural number. Natural number * 2 =even.
the question asks to write a number sentence to show how many markers are in each pair.
ok so you just need to divide the number of markers by 2 (number of pairs)
the exception is 15 because you cannot have 15/2=7.5 markers
The math i am doing is not division its adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers
