OpenStudy (greatlife44):

minor suggestion

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

i'm all eras

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Was wondering for the drawing tool we can only use two shapes a square and a circle. I'm wondering if it would be possible to say add more options like a button that generates a cyclohexane ring or other chemistry related stuff. would be helpful.

pooja195 (pooja195):

I like this idea :)

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

good idea

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

it's hard to draw mechanisms especially for organic chemistry

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

this could help make it easier for people who say want to draw out reaction mechanisms, and it doesn't have to be major maybe an option that generates well at least for chemistry 1. cyclohexane rings 2. phenyl ring 3. a few other common cyclic structures.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

great idea :)

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

this would help ALOT with drawing reaction mechanisms =D

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Agreed, nice suggestion. :)

OpenStudy (zale101):

I completely agree! We need more shapes like octagons, pentagons, heptagons, and hexagons at least.

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

also triangles and squares

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

and maybe a coordinate plane button

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Yep maybe some basic things like this would be sufficient

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Well, with Jay's extension we could insert a picture of a hexagon and then write over it :P

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

They need to redefine the whole draw tool.

OpenStudy (samsungfanboy):

good thinking tso :P

OpenStudy (amistre64):

back in my day, we didnt even have a drawing tool, we had to resort to crude ascii representations ;)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y | o |----|--x

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

x'D

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

amistre64's parents: Back in our days, we didn't even know what ascii was.
