help!? Identify the difference between a molecular formula and a structural formula?

OpenStudy (matt101):

The molecular formula (or chemical formula) is just a group of symbols that represent the number and type of each atom in a compound. So for water, the molecular formula would be H2O. The structural formula is a visual representation of the structure of the compound, showing how all the atoms in the compound are connected. For water, the structural formula would be H-O-H.
