Help me set this up please...having a little trouble

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

a skier is trying to decide whether or not to buy season ski pass. a daily pass costs $74. A season pass costs $300. the skier would have to rent skis with either pass for $20 per day. how many days would the skier have to go skiing in order to make the season pass less expensive than the daily passes? I am getting this....but it does not make sense 20x + 74 < 20x + 300.....but the x's will cancel...so that does not work

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I do not need answers...just the set up

OpenStudy (seascorpion1):

20x+74x as 74 per day.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

oh...lol...I should have thought of that. Thanks
