Need help asap ;-; Determining Exponential function of a graph given (x,y) http://imgur.com/7etbsId

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b^(-1/2)=5. What is b?

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

I see, so that's how you do it? i ws confusing myself then lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You plug in the given point into the parent function that is given to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in (-1/2, 5) into f(x)=b^x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then solve for b to determine the exponential function.

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

thanks -_- im an idiot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha no worries. Thats what Im here for. :3

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

taking a test atm, mind if i toss u up a few more questions if i get stuck?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure lol.

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

oh jesus, was taking wrong test... LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL its okay i will be here for a while

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

<3 thanks check this one out http://imgur.com/VYWvMqC axis of symmetry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol dunno if you are still there, cause i was doing someone's calculus problem...which he ended up being correct on..., buuuut lemme checkout the problem if you still need me to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation of the axis of symmetry is -b/2a
