Yes, the slope is correct, y'(-1)=7, and the line is correct as well. Using the point-slope form for the tangent line: (y-y0)=m(x-x0) where m=7, (x0,y0)=(-1,-9) so (y-(-9))=7(x-(-1)) y+9=7x+7 therefre y=7x-2

thank you!
