PLEASE HELP I WILL FAN AND MEDAL! (Combined Inequlites!)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

MsBrains (ms-brains):

@Leong @ninjaslice

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

-5</=n-2</=2 -3</=n</=4 so you space is going to be between -3 and 4

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

because n is equal to -3 and greater than -3. it is also equal to 4 but less than 4.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So the answer is D...or C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its c both of the signs have the line underneath that means equal to so the dot must be filled in that is the only answer with both dots filled in

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

its been awhile but I imagine the filled in circles are filled in

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

C because the line is in between the inequality -3<n<4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the circles are filled in because it is \(\leq \) not \(<\)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay! Thank you!! I have a few more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also because the answer is always C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the less than or greater than signs dont have a line underneath then the circles would be empty but the signs have the line underneath in both so both circles must be filled in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6<3b or 3b+12>9 2<b or 3b > -3 2< b or b >-1

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Lol, my post was so popular a minute ago.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sr, 2 < b or b< -1

MsBrains (ms-brains):

The option you listed is not an option @Leong

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

i got the same thing as leong =/

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Maybe it's formed differently b >2 or B < -1 is what you guys got right?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Can you help with 2 more questions @Kkutie7

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

well it states that 6<3b or 3b+12<9 2<b or 3b<-3 2<b or b<-1 I dont know

MsBrains (ms-brains):

It's okay! I figured it out. :)

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

next one 10<-2b or 2b+3>11 -5>b or 2b>8 -5>b or b>4 circles shouldn't be filled in

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So B?

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

yes

MsBrains (ms-brains):

last one! :)

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

anything else?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yes. I just sent it

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

right. so, in order for this to work there has to be all real number i.e 1,2,3,4,5,6...etc. when r<-1 we get integers r needs to be greater than 1

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So that narrows it down to B or C

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

correct so if you look at b r is bound between the values -1 and 5 where as c is bound at -1 meaning it can basically go on forever in the positive direction.

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

wait scratch that smh negatives are real numbers too... its been a LONG time

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Thank you for the help!!

OpenStudy (kkutie7):

sure thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Kkutie7 was on fire lol :))
