Help!!!! Please :( juan did a survey in four butterfly parks and wrote the following observations: Butterfly Park Survey Park Number of Pink Butterflies Total Number of Butterflies P 25 53 Q 35 64 R 37 75 S 23 55 Based on the survey, which park had the greatest percentage of pink butterflies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is there two columns

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok nevermind i see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you learned marginal distribution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes im here!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you learned marginal distribution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so when you add your left column you will get the total of pink right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and when you add the left you will get the total of all of the butterflies right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i add th left to righ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

each park will have its own %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it shows the amount of all the butterflies together ? to your right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

colum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so pinkButterflies/totalInPark is one percent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so not adding left to right rather dividing left to right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you can compare the percents of each park

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so park P would have a percent of (23/53) x 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you would do that for all the parks and see which has the largest %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i do that to all the rest yes .. ok! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cam out with 43 54 49 41 so the highest was
