I am having a hard time with OS sever. I am an active person on OS. Sometimes I can't access the web site. It gives me server errors. This is really annoying to me because I can't post my answers on time. So I have to stay until site gets working. That's too bad. Also when I click "post" button at my reply window, sometimes, It doesn't push my post. Then I reload my page again and type all the stuff I had in my previous window.:( What should I do? thanks
What broswer are you using?
*browser
If you are using chrome it helps to clear browsing data
it is firefox.
Oh im not sure: /
do you think if I change it to chrome, this won't happen again?
no, browser doesn't matter. i used firefox one time then started using chrome but os didn't work better.
also. My country is Sri Lanka. can it be a problem to this?
no
the problem is OS glitch
and operating system is Ubuntu.
No
doesnt matter
hmm.. okay. But when OS gets stuck, Other sites are working well. That's why I said that OS server has problems.
Go to your history and try clearing ALL your browser history and make sure the clear cache and cookies check box is checked then try restarting your browser and see if it works then.
okay. thanks
This is a known problem, the CEO has been informed and has told the engineering team to work on it :)
This is very common in FireFox, depending upon your operating system FireFox and OpenStudy becomes unusable... OpenStudy's current way of accessing information, aswell as the way its loaded is very poor, I've offered to work on this and fix it (i could easily make OS the fastest study site)... However... Unfortunately the engineers even when i send preetha a email telling exactly how when where and why something happens it doesnt seem to get fixed... Ashame I'll never get the opportunity to fix all of the Error's on OS
You could try running ccleaner.... Sometimes it helps with my computer.
browser is not a big issue ...all the fault is of OS it lags too much
