OpenStudy (lexber):

Which of the following contributed most to Japan's defeat of the invading Mongols in the 13th century? An army of samurais joined forces to fight the Mongols. Japanese samurais joined forces with Korean warriors to fight the Mongols. Typhoons forced the Mongols to retreat and then destroyed their ships. Mongol ships had difficulty accessing Japan's shoreline.
