OpenStudy (brooke2353):

what kind of question is this

OpenStudy (dayakar):

most of the students not responding for the answers. so,what is the purpose giving solutions

OpenStudy (dayakar):

do u know when two polygons are similar

OpenStudy (dayakar):

Two polygons are said be similar to each other if i) Their corresponding angles are equal and ii)The lengths of their corresponding sides are proportional ii)

OpenStudy (dayakar):

in our problem. first condition holds second condition not hold therefore, these polygons are not similar

OpenStudy (welshfella):

lets find the corresponding sides and check the proportions:- TU corresponds to DE TU:DE = 6:4.5 = 4:3 TV corresponds to DG TV:DG = 2.8 : 2.1 = 4:3 the other 2 pairs of sides are also in the proportion 4:3 so the 2 polygons are similar

OpenStudy (dayakar):

@LetsLearn2000 i;m sorry,i gave a wrong option
