I think the answer must be $1.5 as they change.

to clear it more, consider these

100 --> $50
*150 --> $125
*200 --> $200
250 --> $275
300 --> $350
400 --> $425

rows with (*) mark are predictions.

so if you can see the deference between each 2 rows, you will get it $75 for 50 books. This is the rate for 50 books. but you need to find the rate for 1 book . which is $75/50 = $1.5
