OpenStudy (imamermaid29):

What is the solution to the system of equations represented by the two equations? y = 3/2x y = -1/2x+ 4 ( , )

OpenStudy (anddrea_x33):

(2,3)

OpenStudy (imamermaid29):

thanks :) @anddrea_x33

OpenStudy (mortonsalt):

Do you understand why? @ImaMermaid29

OpenStudy (imamermaid29):

no @mortonsalt

OpenStudy (mortonsalt):

OpenStudy is being ridiculous hahaha Anyway, you know that the two y's are equal to each other.

OpenStudy (mortonsalt):

Just equate the two given equations together, and then you would be able to get x. The value you get with x could be plugged into any one of the equations to get y.
