perimeter = 2 * length + 2 * width
so i add L+L and W+W
8 and 2/4 + 4 and 10/6

8 + 2/4 = 8 1/2 4 + 10/6 = 5 + 4/6 = 5 2/3 so we have 5 + 8 = 13 now you need to add 1/2 and 2/3 and add it to 13
