Please give definition for replacement of the ?'s!

OpenStudy (ramzy197):

nucleus- it controls the functions taking place within the cell and also the site of transcription nucleolus- this is the circular dense material inside the nucleus and its main function is to transcribe rRNA nuclear membrane- this controls what enters and leaves the cell, it has proteins that carry out particular functions. vacuole- it holds the waste products from the organelles inside the cell and also helps maintain the shape of the cell by keeping the pressure inside the cell at its optimum so its turgid mitochondrion- this is where ATP is produced in aprocess called the krebs cycle cytoplasm- this is where the chemical reactions within a cell takes place. rough er- this contains organelles called ribsomes which helps make proteins smooth er- it helps synthesise lipids, phospholipds and steroid hormones. golgi body- this processes and packages proteins into vesicles hope it helped :)
