OpenStudy (ramzy197):

nucleotides come in complementary pairs, so adenine pairs with thymine and cytosine pairs with guanine this is what makes the strand of DNA. the hydrogen bonds are what holds the two strands together by bonding the complementary pairs together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nucleotides are organic molecules that serve as the monomers, or subunits, of nucleic acids like DNA and RNA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A hydrogen bond is the electrostatic attraction between polar molecules that occurs when a hydrogen (H) atom bound to a highly electronegative atom such as nitrogen (N), oxygen (O) or fluorine (F) experiences attraction to some other nearby highly electronegative atom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So basically nucleotides are the ones that build the DNA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and hydrogen bonds are the bonds that hold all of them together

Hope this helps :)
