A bucket catches water dripping from a leak in the ceiling. About 0.8 L drips into the bucket per hour. Lara graphs the number of liters in the bucket versus time. She plots the number of liters in the bucket along the vertical axis, and she plots time in hours along the horizontal axis. What is the y-intercept of the line?

I'm sorry I have to do chores atm

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

tell me plz ahhh!!!

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

Okay I'm back.

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

ok whats the y-intercept

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

of the line?

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

i need to be done with this by 2:20

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

The y-intercept is 0.

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

what??? seriously where are you getting these answers from?

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

ur working on them in a piece of paper

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

Yeah, the y-intercept starts at 0

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

areyou 100% positive?

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

Is 0 one of the answers?

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

no it is just a write in answers no choices tho...

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

but are you positive?

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

ok 2 more

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

Yeah, you might think that it is 0.8, but it says per hour. so the only point the line of the graph is at is 0.

OpenStudy (vickyisthesmartone123):

ok thanks 2 more

OpenStudy (isaiahjwolfe):

Okay
