#15-17

In a nuclear reaction, the number of protons in both left and right hand sides of the equation have to be the same. Total mass has to be the same as well. For #15, the total numeber of protons in the left hand side is 92. Therefore for the right hand side to have 92, you do 92-(56+3(0))=36 For mass=236-(137+3(1))=96. Therefore, the required atom has 96nucleons/total mass and 36 protons. Look for the element in the periodic table with such data. Try for the other exercises and show me your working.
