What are growth factors, and how do they relate to CDK-Cyclin and mutations in cancer cells?

Certain CDKs like P53 which is a tumor suppresor gene, which regulates cell death and if there is a mutation the P53 gene will no longer work and cancerous cells won't die and will keep replicating, leading to cancer.
