[WILL MEDAL] Can someone read over this Compare & Contrast and give me feedback!
Soccer and football are very popular sports. They share a lot of the same goals for the game and also have a lot of differences. Each sport has their own ways of playing and trying win. While football and soccer share some aspects, they are two very different games. Football is a very popular sport, but only in a few countries. National Football League (NFL) games often average tens of millions of views per game; even more during playoff weekends and the Super bowl. Although football games receive a good amount of views, they are mainly only watched in a few regions: North America, Japan, and parts of western Europe. Out of those three regions, the majority of ‘football-lovers’ are in North America. The average amount of live spectators for a seasonal game are around sixty-seven thousand fans. While for the seasons of all NFL teams, it averages to seventeen million live fans. The most watched football game, the Super bowl, only received one hundred and twenty million views across the world. Football is a very complex and physical game with the same end goal as soccer. The point of football is to get the ball across the opposing team’s touchline, or to kick the ball between the uprights on the field goal, and score more points than the opposing team. Most football games are fairly high scoring and aren’t as athletically or as fluid as a soccer game. Football does not require as much fitness or mental awareness as soccer. Although football plays with eleven men on the field, it is usually only a few people who make the play work. Football is not as demanding as soccer due to the fact that you can have unlimited substitutes and you are able to stop time fairly easily. The average distance ran in football is a little bit over a mile, and that is only for receivers and cornerbacks who do the most running. The average football player gets subbed off after either a long run or a long pass or every few plays. Soccer is a sport enjoyed by the entire world. Some soccer games do not receive as many views as NFL games do, but the regions that those views come from are from the entire world, not just a select few regions. Unlike the NFL, every continent, besides Antarctica, of course, has soccer leagues set up. There are a total of 21 professional leagues around the world, with each league having upwards of 50 teams a piece. Although FIFA (the governing body of soccer) only recognizes two hundred and three international teams, over two hundred and thirty countries have a national team to represent them. The World Cup received over five million live fans and over a billion views from across the world. Soccer is a much less complex sport than football with the same end goal. The point of soccer is to work as a team to control play and get the ball past the opposing keeper into the net to score and whoever scores the most wins. Although most soccer games are very low scoring, the game is very fluid and requires a lot of fitness, athleticism, and mental awareness. Soccer is not as complex as football in terms of regulations, but it is more complex in terms of trying to score. Soccer is a full team sport and if you can’t work together, you can’t win. Soccer is a much more athletic game than it is physical due to the fact that each game is limited to three substitutes max and there are no ways to stop time and take a break as there are in football. The average soccer player will run an average of seven to ten miles per game depending on your position. Also, the average soccer player will have to run for the full game, which is ninety minutes, unless they are one of the three who can get subbed off during a game. While football and soccer are two very popular sports and are very different in terms of playing, they both aim for the same end goal, to score more than your opponent. Soccer is the most athletic and fitness demanding sport between the two, but football is much more physical. Football may be popular, but it is mainly only watched in North America, while soccer is worldwide with billions of fans.
You want me to proofread it, grammar check it, and fact check it?
(Because I am pretty good at proofreading and grammar checking)
Well this is still my rough draft, I'm just looking to make sure this makes sense and if you'd like to grammar check it and proofread it that would be fine :)
Campareing something is like contrasting so for example Apple is good to eat with cereal is comparing contrasting it would be... the apple is red and good to eat explaining whit you just compared.
Ok, I will try. This will take maybe 5-10 minutes.
You did pretty good at that essay. good job I just read it i didn't check it but nice job.
I think (my opinion) you should specify at least one time in the beginning what you mean by football. Most but not all of the world says football instead of soccer. Gud job tho
@FashionZebras , Does everything make sense? Anything you think I should add or delete?
Wheres you Thesis statement?
@RaphaElf I was thinking about changing football to american football and changing soccer to football, but not sure if that would be too confusing or not.
nm
I would just keep it, it looked like you spent a lot of time on it.
depends on where your teacher is from. they probably understand what you mean. just keep it
Yeah what grade are you in?
:)
I'm a sophmore. My teacher is from the US (I believe, lol), but when we spoke a few days back she knew a good portion about soccer so
Oh so high school yeah keep it it's fine I was going to say if ur in like college then it might need to be longer. lol
then keep it how it is. just add a title and probably the date.
and bibliography if u used any books or websites

You should move on to final draft, because this is awesome!! Good job!)
:)
