Solve for 'x' in the equation 300=200e^0.3x
try dividing both sides by 200 then u take log on both sides with base e
@imqwerty \[1.5=e^{0.3x}\] Is that a good start
yes
are u allowed to use calculators?
Yes
ok now try doing this- we take log with base e on both sides \[\log_{e}1.5=\log_{e}e^{0.3x}\]
Would that be like taking log 1.5? @imqwerty
can u tell what is the base of logarithm in this^
Well it has base 'e' right?
yes we are taking base e we take base as e in this case so that the right hand side of the equation can be simplified easily :)
if u get confused somewhere feel free to ask
@imqwerty is the answer bout 1.35?
yeah its 1.35
Okay awesome! For \[1500=25 \times 2^{0.45x}=23.58?\]
Approx. that is.
try doin it again :) i think theres a lil mistake
to check your answers ...to see if they are correct u jst try putting the value of x that ur getting into the equation :) liek here u got x=23.58 approx when u put it in the equation 25x2^{0.45x} 25x 2^{0.45x23.58} =39099.328 so this is not 1500 therefore x=23.58 is wrong
