does anyone no this -12 divided by 2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's what calculators are for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i dont have one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, well you can find them online.. but the answer is -18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Better that you not get dependent on the calculator anyhow. None of my math classes in college have allowed them, and that's through partial differential equations after calculus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would you like to see how to get the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-12 ÷ 2/3 If you divide by a fraction, this is the same as multiplying by the upside down version of the fraction. -12 x 3/2 Then just multiply the numerators -36/2 and simplify -18

Ah, @livias.random beat me to it. https.wild_, you're not helping anyone by giving answers out.
