help with inequalities
Okay #1. Since you are trying to find X ALONE what do you have to take from X to find X alone? You have to take the 55 away from the X to get it alone, right? Now to get rid of 55 you have to subtract 55 from not only one side, both sides. Which would look like this: 55-55x+80-55. Now we know that 55-55=0 and 80-55=25. So what does that tell you? It tells you X=25.
okay
I got to let you work through the rest because we are actually not supposed help with tests. So, I helped with this one and will let the other three be on you :) Okay. Just remember.... Your friend is wrong/incorrect. Why? Use the information I gave in #1 to answer the rest of these. All inequalities follow the same rules. Find what you need to take away from the variable. If the original inequality is subtracting then you will add the number next the variable to each side or vice versa. Then subtract or add to find X= (Or whatever the variable is) Sending luck to you through this Connections Academy Test!
I'm more than happy to help with anything other than tests though! Don't want either of us getting banned or anything ;)

For 26 The potting soil is 12.50 so we can take away 12.50 from 71.00 now to get the price of each shrub we would divide what you get by 6 and get how much each shrub costs....
