FAN+MEDAL! Anybody read The Call of The Wild?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have! Do you have a question about it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, here it is: Choose one character from the story and explain how the author created him or her. Share at least three elements of characterization (Physical characteristics, mental characteristics, choice of words (dialogue examples, dialect, or even sounds made by the dogs), descriptions of actions or decisions, or the character’s social context) and give examples of each for your chosen character. Your response should address each part of the question. Use details from the book to support each description.

That's long... So, if I choose Buck... How do I know how the author created him? It doesn't really say in the book, does it? Well, I mean he's the main character, he's big, strong, smart...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the elements but like idk how to like get the examples

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Welllll... Lemme check the book. I'm sure it says somewhere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I know buck is at first a pampered aristocrat, and then turns into a strong fierce dog

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. It actually says 'Buck quickly grew strong and wise. His muscles became hard as iron and he grew used to pain.'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome!

yea
