Can someone help figure out x. Explain plz =P

Because the two sides of the triangle have the same length it is fair to guess that the two bottom angles are the same. Now guessing isn't really good enough but it turns out to be true, and you can use some properties of angles and other things I forget about to prove that :)

Knowing the two bottom angles are equal and that they all must sum to 180 means that if x is the angle you are looking for than you can find it using 2x + 38 = 180
