OpenStudy (jchick):

Do the opposite of above.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The difference between 20 and -15 is a range of 35. Split that in half: 35 divided by 2 =17.5. Take the low point (-15) and add 17.5 to it. -15+17.5 = 2.5. The midpoint or halfway point is 2.5.
