Where are proteins found in the cell?
If you are asking specifically about protein synthesis, it occurs in the cytoplasm, specifically at the ribosomes inside the cells. This is the location where amino acids are linked together by peptide bonds to which then create polypeptide chains (proteins). Proteins are found all where they are needed. They are found in cell membrane some of these kinds of proteins are called carrier proteins that act to facilitate diffusion of molecules in and out of the cell. Channel protiens which allow ions to pass through the membrane. They are also found as enzymes which are types of proteins that catalyze chemical reactions in the cell.
basically there are 2 types of proteins in the cell.... essential proteins(obtained from outside) non essential proteins(synthesised inside the cell) essential proteins include:methionine, leucine, lycine, arginine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, threonine, valine, histidine and isoleucine.
