The sum of two prime numbers is 85. What is the product of these two prime numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 85 B. 91 C. 115 D. 133 E. 166

OpenStudy (baru):

we can try factorizing the options

OpenStudy (lochana):

83,2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so 83 x 2?

OpenStudy (lochana):

prime numbers would be 83 and 2. so yeah. 83x2 = 166

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

It is easy to see that one number must be 2 because sum of any two odd primes is even and 2 is the only even prime

OpenStudy (lochana):

of course, that's right.

OpenStudy (lochana):
