He is presenting his situation as the truth so people would also believe in it. He knows that you can't doubt a bible about the true facts in it so he uses it so people can hear him out. The bible is used in martin Luther king’s letter because it is holy and holds only the truth which gives martin Luther king a chance to connect it with his life and make people believe in his words and actually listen to what he is saying.

In conclusion, the rights of African Americans should be the same as the rights of the white people. M.L.K.’s work gave the African Americans a chance to live a good life with nice things and a good education. They are the same as white people in every way except there color and that shouldn’t have been the reason to treat them they way they were treated. M.L.K. was and still is a hero, if it wasn’t for him we would still be killing and brutally hurting them to this day.
