They use different methods which would seem appropriate for their experiment. For example they might use 3d drawings or models to describe something such as protein denaturing or synthesis. Or they might use graphs, charts to describe results that are quantitative. Nowadays most data is analyzed through computers where it makes it easier to keep track of info.
Right, any thing that represents the data in an organized way is a chart/graph, and those are the only ways u can show organized data in one place
