I would say Nominal Qualitative data, but that's just a guess. I suggest you look up the definition and examples of each type of data.

Yes it's nominal because they're basically names or labels. They can't be sorted because there is no natural order. You also can't do math on the gender labels (it makes no sense to find the average gender for instance). So that's why it's qualitative.
