The salutation- Maybe, if you felt like you could spare a word or three and they would still know where it's coming from. the heading- Everyone likes subject matter on a letter, but it's probably not essential, especially when the other party was briefed on it previously. the closing- I seriously doubt anyone would not like this part of the letter, no matter what circumstances the letter comes by. the body- Would you leave out everything you were trying to tell your friend and just send a letter with a heading a closing and a salutation? that sounds rough to interpret. the Heading or the salutation are your best bets. if I had to pick one, I would go with the salutation.

Explain how to write a strong introduction. @logicwouldsay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would probably depend on the subject matter, there are many different ways to write a letter on many different subjects.

"Congratulations! your event was spectacular. The circus acts were absolutely wonderful. Maurice loved the booths, and all of the food was great. I know it wouldn't make as much money, but I know you could put on a great birthday party for my little Elisa's fifth. We can pay, of course, and I can offer my services putting up decorations and similar as well.."
