Hey :P Remember yesterday where I said if the scale factor were 2...it would mean double the size? *or multiply the values by 2? So if the scale factor is 2.5...what would we do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we multiply? 2.5

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

We multiply each side length by 2.5 right? Not just the area |dw:1447339349128:dw|

Right yes! :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So what dimensions would we have now? What is 8 times 2.5? And what is 5 times 2.5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12.5 and 20

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Right |dw:1447339474008:dw| Meaning our area is now...?
