To get the Greates Common Factor (GCF) of 8 and 76 we need to factor each value first and then we choose all the copies of factors and multiply them: 8: 2 2 2 76: 2 2 19 GCF: 2 2 The Greates Common Factor (GCF) is: 2 x 2 = 4

So divide 76 by each of those numbers and which ever that is the (greatest) that goes into both numbers would be your answer.
