c

It would make the equation 4(-16)/(4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4(-16)/(4)=-16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4*-16=-64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-64/4=-16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically you are multiplying by 4 then dividing by 4 which is useless because they cancel out so it becomes (-16) x 1 which anything times 1 is itself so C
