La película está siendo exhibida en el cine. Then, it's estar.

You're welcome! But in fact, if you look at the answer in the second one, you're using estar + ser= está siendo. However, it isn't the exact translation, that sentence can be translated to "La película se está exhibiendo en el cine". So, estar is the 'more correct' choice.
