Suppose you have an electrical device that needs a steady current of 10 milliamperes. You need to greatly increase the length of the wire between the battery pack and the appliance. What changes will you need to make in your circuit to keep a steady current?

Since you are using a battery pack, I will assume that the voltage value is fixed (other words you can't adjust the voltage output). If that being true you will have to keep the transmission loss the same as the original distance. This could be accomplished by increasing the wire size (diameter) so that new conductor total resistance equals the same resistance of the original path.
