OpenStudy (grace111):

9/10 - 4/15 = ?

OpenStudy (grace111):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok first to subtract it you need to have the same denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first is 19/30.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 can be the denominator so to make 9/10 to that multiply 10 to 3 and do the same with the numerator 9 times 3 so 27/30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and do the same with 4/15 15 times 2 is 30 so multiply the numerator by 2 4 times 2 so 8/30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now subtract them 27/30 - 8/30 = so 19/30 is the answer so @jpdomo651 is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean @jperdomo651
